At the core of AFS is a fleet of specialised vehicles and high-performance equipment, purpose-built for rapid and effective action in emergency situations. Our NPO operates with a range of vehicles including 4×4 rapid intervention units and water tankers with high-capacity pumps—each designed to navigate difficult terrain and access remote fire zones quickly.

These vehicles are equipped with state-of-the-art gear such as high-pressure hose reels, portable water tanks, two-way radios and full PPE (personal protective equipment) for crew safety. Our equipment is maintained by a dedicated team of trained volunteers and professionals who undergo regular fire simulation drills and skills training. We pride ourselves on being able to respond quickly and efficiently to both wildland and structural fires, often in areas with limited access to formal fire services.
